Empowerment Academy

Date: December 4th, 2010
Where: Austin ISD Higher Learning Center (meeting at RRHS at 8AM or can drive there yourself there at your requested shift)
When: 8AM - 2PM
What: Members will actively help out the Cap City cause we're working toward and see and meet the children we are affecting with the amount of work we are doing

Can volunteer throughout that time period but Must be able to find a ride to the academy and back

Inside Event and Possibly ALL YOUR REQUIRED INSIDE HOURS

We will be meeting at the School in the Morning and Carpooling/traveling in a herd to the place since it is not exactly close!

Everyone Please come and Help! We Need All the Help We Can Get!

What: Pairing up NHS member with struggling student in Pre - AP/ AP classes

Why: To ensure the retention rate of higher level courses

Why does it matter? Helps builds a foundation with other an other students throughout a period of time

Not necessarily required but gives you the opportunity to actually make a lasting impression on students
