MATH TUTORING!

MATH TAKS TUTORING will be every day until the TAKS Test!!! The tutoring will begin March 21st and continue through April 21st. In the morning from 8:15 am to 8:55 am, go to Room 745. In the afternoon from 4:20 pm to 5:00 pm, go to Room 604.

Great Oaks Elementary's Annual Spring Carnival. OUTSIDE HOURS

Great Oaks Elementary's Annual Spring Carnival.

Carnival is Great Oaks PTA's biggest event of the year, and raises a large percentage of the funds needed to provide educational support to GOE's teachers and students.
 
This year's event is Saturday, April 16th, and will run from 1-6pm.

We will also need help setting up and taking down the activities, so there is opportunity for volunteering beginning around 12 pm and post-carnival from 6pm until we're done.

NHS MEETING THIS THURSDAY

Hello NHSers:)
Just a friendly reminder that we will be having our next general meeting THIS THURSDAY March 24th, at 8:20 AM and 4:20 PM in Mr. Hobby's room. 
(Not fords theater)
It's very important you attend this meeting because we will be electing our new officers for next year, as well as discussing some major events happening in the busy month of April. Just a reminder that the deadline for hours is quickly approaching, and if you are behind in your hours we have lots coming up for you to do:) so please make sure you are getting your hours taken care of!

also SENIORS: the deadline for ordering your graduation stoles will be April 1st. They are $20 and Mrs. Esparza will be collecting money for these at the meeting. So if you'd like to order one, Thursday would be a good chance to get that money in! Please keep in mind that you must have all your hours turned in by the deadline to receive your stole.

We are all so proud of the work we have accomplished this year.. Keep it up!:)

Members with 8th period off are needed to help advertise District Wide Battle of the Bands at other schools.
Each member will be split into two different groups to visit the school and post fliers around the school in order to advertise event to the other schools. 

Any member with 8th off is welcome to help out. 
Desperately need help. If members don't have transportation few spots are open in officer's cars probably

5K Run March 5th!

INFO:
The race will be held at Dell Diamond on Saturday morning, March 5th.

Volunteers are needed at the finish line 8am - 10 am. the race starts t 8am and we are expecting 300 racers; Dr. Chavez will give a talk before the rate starts

AND

Volunteers are neeed with the kid's run 830AM - 930Am the run/walk starts at 9:00AM and we are responsible for marking the route and cheering the kids around the parking lot.

These two areas are the responsibility of Round Rock High School.

Parking in the PRSOPERITY BANK parking lot next door to Dell Diuamond. the race start and finish line and the kid's run is locxated in back of he back of the bank.

Wear any RR shirt you like, you wil be outside. BYO cofe, etc. there will be healthy snacks at the end.

Mrs. Horton will be there from 730AM onj, somwhere arund the start/finish line and Kid's run start.
